Fuck it, Scarlet Witch x Toad headcanons cause I’m soft for them and actually really like them in my retelling/version of the X-men and Brotherhood.

-Toad and Wanda initially meet after the Brotherhood is formed, and Toad being the absolute socially ignorant dork he was (is) immediately blurred out WOW.

-Toad looks like the design for him on my other blog @gh0ulbunni go lookie anyways, Toad at the time had more of a disheveled look to him IE hair was super long, loads of fresh scabbed over scars, fight wounds, and deep claw marks from his habit of scratching his skin when anxious and peeling it (Motherfucker will literally peel chunks of skin from around his nails out of nervousness but I’m one to talk I do the same bullshit)

-Slowly, despite Pietro’s protests, she pities him and decided to interact with him more. Instead of the shriveling unintelligent mess that Magneto described and presented, she found Mortimer tinkering with an old car engine and taking notes in a sketchbook riddled with mathematics and engineering bits and mechanical concepts + he clearly was more intelligent than he let on but due to his fear of being beaten… Well, he played dumb so that people wouldn’t feel threatened and try to beat him down.

-Wanda pats his head one day with a genuine smile and boom. What have you done. What has SHE DONE. His heart belongs to her

-He actually really likes physical affection if he knows it’s coming. Someone tried to hug him from behind, he freaked, and swung hard enough to crush their jaw.

-Wanda sometimes has severe breakdowns and switches between Pietro and Mortimer for comfort. On one hand there’s her family, her brother, her twin! And on the other is this reclusive and feral yet sweet and affectionate guy who monks his forehead against hers as a sign of mutual affection and reassurance, who literally learned to make her and Pietro’s childhood meal just to comfort them, a man who spent weeks collecting the entire DVD set of I Love Lucy for her and Pietro as a birthday gift.

-Wanda quickly finds herself constantly thinking of him, she knows his quirks, little habits, routines, likes and dislikes, his strengths and weaknesses etc etc and definitely can and WILL rattle them off if you ask. Both of them blush around one another and seem to spend more and more time together… Until he disappears one day.

-Magneto explained that Toad had “died” on a mission, and who could back him up but Mystique, Sabertooth, and Mastermind! So… He was correct, right?

-So yeah, Wanda was heartbroken but shortly after she and Pietro joined the Avengers to help stop their homeland (Sokovia) from being destroyed by Ultron and you know the rest where she meets Vision and he saves her. Yes, Pietro gets shot but he lives.

-They all go about their daily lives when Wanda decides to visit her father and his gang… And who shows up all reformed and looking for revenge for his death at ol’ Erik’s hands? You guessed it, Toad man.

-So yeah, it was all a rouse because Toad was gaining courage and independence through Wanda and istg the moment he gets therapy and a good nights sleep he’d easily decimate both the X-men and Brotherhood! So in a moment of dumb, Magneto made up a mission where he supposedly executed Toad but not really.

-Chaos ensues and Mortimer and Wanda abruptly beat Magneto’s two ways from Sunday and she offers to let him live with her at the compound, which he hesitantly agrees to. By this point, Civil War was just about to happen and the tension and frustration between Wanda and Vision had grown so thick you would need a chainsaw to cut it.

-Android balls over here believed Stark and thought Wanda was going to be a danger to the world, that she was violent and unstable and the entirety of the public needed to be protected from her. Yeah Vis still loved her, but Mortimer offered a new opinion.

-“You can’t control their fears. Only your own. Humans simply fear power they can’t comprehend a person could have, they panic and try to put out the flame of power that person has… But it only makes the flames grow stronger. Fire can provide warmth and comfort, a warm blanket to shield you from the cold world, or it can burn you alive… You are a flame that humans try to control but can’t, they paint you as someone who’ll burn everything down and kill everything but that’s only if you LET them turn you into that!”

-It was at that moment, she knew, she had to keep him. This same man who showed himself to have the most childish nature ever, was suddenly so mature and warm in his comfort. He was the indestructible coal that fueled Wanda as a warm and loving flame in a hearth that warmed humanity and protected it from the cold evils. And it was safe to say they’d both kill to keep it going.

Wooo okay got a lil poetic there. Probably gonna make a part 2 to this! It’s not as heavy and is more about the stupid and hilarious stuff in their relationship and their quirks, like how Toad gets his own workshop in the compound and hangs up the most NSFW tapestries right behind the door to act as a curtain? The thought is that people will be too disturbed to disturb him with useless bullshit and will therefore leave him be

I’ve been playing Detroit: Become Human so I have come to ruin your life with my third au where Hajime’s an android istg I have a problem I’m sorry-

Anyways (dbh actually has nothing to do with this au it just inspired it):

First off we have IZ-800/Izuru; a prototype android who became self-aware and went rouge, not wanting to simply be used by humans for the rest of his life

Next up is Hajime, created by IZ due to loneliness

After a few months, IZ was found by Kamukura Corp; the company that created them. They were deactivated and labeled a failed experiment

IZ never gave Hajime any specific skill sets, as they didn’t want him to be confined to simply what he could do like they were

Unfortunately, due to their time together being cut short, IZ was never able to turn Hajime on successfully. Haj has some vague memories from when he was still in the experimental stage, but they’re all just IZ telling him random things, and never them holding a conversation. Only a few have visuals to go along with them

Due to Kamukura Corp discovering IZ, the small laboratory he built went abandoned. During that time, Hajime went hidden and shut off, completely unaware of what was going on

He was basically somewhere between conscious and unconscious; he couldn’t hear or see, and he didn’t have any sense of time- but he could still think. Wonder when IZ was coming back, or he would finally be able to speak with him this time, instead of simply hear him. If he could thank him for everything he’s done, for all the care he’s given him

Years pass, and Hajime is none the wiser

Eventually, the lab is quite literally stumbled upon by one Komaeda Nagito. He finds himself wandering through the woods near his hometown one day, and trips over the root of a tree. He falls face-first onto what feels and sounds like. . . metal?

He knocks on the ground a few time to confirm that it is indeed metal. It sounds hollow too. He gets up and blindly searches the ground for a while until he hears a click, then a hissing/scraping sound

He peers over to see a large, slightly rusted staircase. He has no idea where it leads, but really; what does he have to lose?

He caves into his curiosity and goes down it, quickly finding a light switch. He looks around a bit, finding a strange looking key. Finally, he comes across the one and only locked door in the entire facility. He fumbles with the key a bit, in a mix of excitement and slight fear

He opens it to find what looks like a person who is. . . sleeping? Standing up? He slowly walks towards them and calls out to them. Upon receiving no response, he notices the small grey switch behind their ear. He flips it on and-

Hajime introduces himself with a slightly monotonous yet cheerful voice and glowing yellow eyes. He says ‘I’ve been waiting for you’ and starts to ramble about all of the things they could do together now that he can speak and move. Komaeda is too stunned to cut him off and tell him that whoever he’s looking for, it most definitely isn’t him. But then

Hajime pauses; his eyes flicker slightly in confusion

“You are. . . not IZ? Where is he? Where is my father?”

I’m sorry this is so long and weird-

Ohhhhhh this is so cool!!!!!!! Ahh Izuru............ Hajime would be so sad, finding out that his dad was nowhere to be found............man I just want them to be reunited now :(((

Hhh knowing Ko’s luck, he’d stumble across something that leads them to finding Izuru scrapped or deactivated or something and Ko has to drag Hajime off before they get spotted. They go back for him later if he’s just deactivated of course but while Ko’s dragging Hajime away, he’s so impatient that Nagito’s luck is the only thing stopping them from getting caught and arrested.
